The Effects of Integrative Arts Therapy on College Students' Self-understanding and Interpersonal Relationships

|
This study is to investigate the effects of integrative arts therapy on self-understanding and interpersonal relationships. The students visited counseling center in order to solve difficulties such as college adaptation problems and stress of employment problems. The subjects of this study are 41 college students who applied to the P university counseling center. The experimental group consists of 21 students and the control group consists of 20 students. This study was conducted 10 times from April 1, 2017, for 10 weeks. The findings of this study were summarized as follows. First, the integrative arts therapy affects college students' self-understanding. Second, the integrative arts therapy program affects the interpersonal relationships of college students. Therefore, such research shows that the integrative arts therapy program is effective for the self-understanding of college students and the improvement of interpersonal relationships.
